He saw that the bypass valve was open before he even got in the room with the equipment, closed that, checked several things to see if they needed maintenance, gave me a few more instructions, tested the hardness of the water, reprogrammed the backwash system so it wasn't doing it more than it should have been and was amazingly thorough and efficient.
